Why is face morphology so important?
Choosing your glasses is like choosing a hairstyle: the right model can transform your silhouette and balance your features. The good news with Joey Cyan: our range covers all face shapes.
1. OVAL FACE — The Chameleon’s Luck
The oval face is the most versatile. Slightly wide rectangular frames, aviator models, and geometric shapes are recommended. To avoid: frames that are too small which enhance the length of the face.
2. ROUND FACE — Creating Length
The goal is to visually elongate the face. Rectangular, square, and angular geometric frames with high temples are ideal. To avoid: round or oval frames.
3. SQUARE FACE — Softening the Angles
Round, oval, or almond-shaped frames that are slightly wider than the face. To avoid: frames that are too square or rectangular.
4. HEART-SHAPED FACE — Balancing the Bottom
Light and thin frames, rimless models, aviator styles, slightly wider at the bottom. To avoid: frames that are too wide at the top (cat-eye, thick browline).
5. LONG FACE — Adding Width
Wide, high, oversized frames with decoration on the temples. To avoid: small, thin frames that elongate even more.
